How will I pay for my purchases?

Purchases are paid for using Paypal, either using a credit card or a Paypal account if you have one.

You do not need to set up a Paypal account if you don't wish to and can simply pay using your credit card in this case.

Using Paypal gives both Possess Me and our customers additional protection and security in terms of making purchases online and keeping track of orders, as well as access to a dispute resolution process in the unusual case that an issue arise that we are not able to resolve between us.

How do you protect my privacy and the security of my personal details?

Your privacy and security are very important to us.

You will not need to provide any sensitive information relating to you order until you checkout using our Shopify shopping cart. Your address will be input into a secure Shopify page. Once you are ready to make payment you will then be taken to a secure Paypal page to complete your order.

At no time is Possess Me informed of your credit card details, should you choose to pay using a credit card via Paypal.

Possess Me may keep your contact details on file as part of our record keeping and administration in relation to sales. However we can assure you that we will not pass on your contact details to any third party without your permission unless we are legally obliged to do so.

We particularly hate spam and will not contact you once your order has been completed satisfactorily unless you have given us permission to do so. If you do opt into our mailing list you will always be able to opt out or change your details at any time you wish.

Note that orders are delivered with the return address simply stating 'PM' as the name of the business to help protect your privacy in relation to you order.

What currency is used in the pricing of Possess Me products?

All of the prices featured on our website and when purchasing our products are in US dollars.

If you wish to get an idea of the cost in your local currency, we recommend you visit the Universal Currency Converter which will give you a good idea of the cost based on current market rates.

If you use a credit card your bank may use a slightly different rate depending on when your payment is processed and it may include additional fees. This is beyond our control. If you are concerned about this we suggest you contact your bank prior to making any purchases in foreign currencies.

If you use a Paypal account for your payment, again the exchange rate may well be different.

What will appear on my credit card statement if I purchase your products?

Payments made using a credit card will show up as being to Paypal. Our Paypal account is known simply as 'Jewellery & Objects' so if there is any identification of the account the payment was made to, this is what will appear.

How can I track what is happening with my order?

You will receive automated confirmation emails from both Possess Me and Paypal confirming your order and payment respectively. Possess Me will also email you when your order has been despatched or if there are any unexpected delays.

Unfortunately tracking of deliveries in real time from Australia is not available, unless you opt to use the (expensive!) services of Fedex for your purchases.

I would like to dispute a purchase which is related to Possess Me. What should I do?

Please contact us to discuss the issue and we'll do our utmost to reach a resolution with you.

If in the unusual instance that we have been unable to resolve your issue satisfactorily, Paypal has an excellent dispute resolution service which aims to protect both sellers and buyers.

Can I return or exchange Possess Me products I have purchased?

Generally you can, but there are certain restrictions, including on the timeframe within which you can make a return.

For hygiene reasons, certain items, such as our butt plugs, cannot be returned other than for manufacturing faults or damage during delivery.

What happens if an item I wish to order is out of stock?

You will be unable to purchase an out of stock item using our shopping cart. However, if you would like to know when an item will be back in stock, please contact us to find out.

Although we do make all of our items to order, this does require us to have the right stock items on hand. If we don't, the item may appear out of stock in our shop.

What is your checkout and payment process?

Details of our shopping process are as follows:

  • > Once you have added one or more items to your cart and have proceeded to the checkout section of our shop, you will then go through a process to complete your shopping cart before then being transferred to a secure page of 2Checkout.com, our authorised retailer, where you will be able to make your payment.
  • > After you complete each step in our checkout area you will be returned to your cart summary page to give you the opportunity to make any changes you wish.
  • > At any time you may go back to an earlier step in the process if necessary by clicking on a link in the steps area of the cart summary page.
  • > The first step in the cart is to check that your quantities and items are correct.
  • > You will then need to input your basic contact details in relation to the order - your name and email address, and, if you wish, your country and phone number. You may do this by logging into an account, setting up a new account or by simply entering the relevant details without creating an account. Note that your full address details will be collected when you make your payment with 2CheckOut and that for your security and ours, your billing and delivery address must be the same.
  • > The next step is to select the delivery method for your order. You will be given the opportunity to select delivery within Australia (where Possess Me is based) or internationally. Once you have made a selection on this page the cost will be added to your cart and you will have the opportunity to review your new total.
  • > You will then be asked to accept Possess Me's sales terms and conditions before proceeding to the final step of the shopping cart, where you will be given your grand total and can then click on 'continue' to be taken to an SSL-encrypted order page, which guarantees the security of your personal and payment information.
  • > On the first 2CheckOut page you will be asked to review your order amount. Note that 2CheckOut only list the total price of your order, including shipping, rather than itemising the products you are purchasing.
  • > You will then be asked to select your payment method.
  • > Finally you will proceed to a page where you will enter your credit card and billing address details and submit these to make your payment. 2CheckOut will immediately query your bank to verify that the information supplied is correct and that you have funds available. If your order is declined for any reason you will be advised.
  • > You will then return to a www.possess-me.com confirmation page. Shortly after you will receive a confirmation email of your detailed order from Possess Me and a separate email from 2CheckOut confirming payment of your order.
  • > Once your order has been made by Possess Me you will receive a further email advising you that it has been despatched using the delivery method you selected. We aim to make and despatch our orders within 5 to 7 days. However, if this is delayed for any reason we will let you know.

What alternative payment methods do you offer?

We prefer customers to purchase our products using the secure infrastructure of Paypal.

However, if you prefer not to use Paypal, we may be able to send you a money request using 2Checkout, whihc you can also pay using a credit card.

Note that to keep our costs down and to enhance security we do not operate our own merchant account to take credit cards directly.

Do you sell items in bulk or at wholesale prices?

At this stage Possess Me is aimed at individual customers who wish to purchase for personal use.

As Possess Me is a small business which both designs and makes the products it sells, we tend to keep small quantities of stock on hand any given time.

However, if you are interested in purchasing bulk quantities or would like to sell our work in your retail outlet, please contact us to discuss this possibility further.
