delivery costs
We have various charges for delivery, depending on whether you are in Australia or elsewhere and based upon the value of your order. These costs are calculated after you provide your mailing address when you start the checkout process in our shopping cart.
You will not be charged for anything until you have been given the total costs of your order, including delivery, and have agreed to proceed.
international deliveries
Possess Me is based in Sydney, Australia. As such, international deliveries are those which are to any countries outside of Australia.
Costs of international deliveries start from US$4.50 to New Zealand and US$5.00 to the rest of the world. This will increase based on the value of your order and will be calculated for your confirmation prior to completing checkout.
standard international deliveries
Standard international deliveries are sent through Australia Post by airmail.
Once your order has been made and despatched by Possess Me you can expect to receive it within 4 to 8 business days in most locations, but it may take up to 10 days in some areas.
Note that tracking is not available from Australia using airmail, however, international post from Australia is generally very reliable.
standard international deliveries - insurance
You will be given an option to upgrade to an insured delivery for orders of up to US$300. As all insured deliveries must be posted at a more expensive rate, this can add a reasonable amount to postage costs.
Note that all orders over US$300 must be posted with insurance - this will be the shipping option given once your purchase is over this amount.
express international deliveries
To most locations we are able to send your order via Fedex, either priority or economy. You can upgrade to an express Fedex delivery when checking out, however, note that the costs of using Fedex from Australia are high.
If you select Fedex priority, to most destinations in the US you will receive your order within around 36 hours of it being made and despatched, provided it is sent and received on a business day. However, it can take up to three days to some locations.
Fedex economy can take anywhere from two to four business days to arrive.
notes re international deliveries
We cannot take responsibility for any customs and import duties required by your own country. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they will be. If you are concerned about such charges or general import restrictions, please contact your local customs office prior to ordering.
We may at our discretion, refuse to deliver to various countries if we feel that there may be a problem with such a delivery. This may include countries in West Africa and some in eastern Europe, along with other locations. If we make such a decision about an order you have placed, the value of your order will be refunded immediately.
australian deliveries
standard australian deliveries
Standard deliveries within Australia are sent through Australia Post's parcel post service.
Costs of Australian deliveries start from US$3.00 and will increase based on the value of your order. The cost will be calculated for you to confirm prior to completing checkout.
Once your order has been despatched by Possess Me through Australia Post you can expect to receive it after 1 to 7 days depending on your location. Learn more about Australia Post's delivery times to various locations within Australia.
standard australian deliveries - insured
You will have the choice to upgrade to an insured delivery for orders up to US$300 in value.
Orders over US$300 must be sent insured and this will be the option you'll be provided with at checkout for orders over this amount.
express post australian deliveries
You can opt to upgrade your standard delivery to use Express Post in Australia. Within metropolitan areas, delivery is guaranteed to be next day, however, please leave time for your order to be made and sent.
packaging
All of our orders are in plain packaging with no Possess Me marketing information on the outside. The business name on our return address is simply given as 'PM' to help protect your privacy.
All items in your order will be packed in such a way as to protect them while they are being delivered.
Note that any parcels may be opened for checking by customs officials and we have no control over this.
missing deliveries
It is very rare for deliveries from Australia to go missing as our postal system is very reliable. However, very occasionally it can and does happen.
Orders should arrive within 3 to 10 business days internationally (1 to 4 days by express) or 1 to 7 business days in Australia, depending on your location and the delivery method you have chosen. Occasionally delays are caused by customs checking and items may take longer at busier times of the year, so please allow a couple of extra days for such delays.
If the relevant maximum time period has passed since you were informed of the despatch of your order and it has still not arrived you should follow this up by contacting us.
Note that we keep track of customs barcode numbers and these can be used retrospectively to discover what may have happened to an international delivery.
If you order was insured, we will immediately start the process to claim the insurance and will replace your order or refund you if you prefer.
If your order was uninsured, please contact us and we can discuss this with you to reach a resolution.
